MOSSMore information!

MOSS is a place where students ages 3-12 years old can learn, play and have fun. Spread your wings and explore the wonderful world of nature just outside our door. Let your imagination be the guide as you help create your own outdoor adventure. Our field campus inside Ponderosa State Park on the shores of stunning Payette Lake is the perfect location for kids to just be kids in a creative, fun, adventure filled environment. We will mirror school year learning styles by emphasizing practicing taking care of ourselves, others and this place. Each day, and week will have a different science focus to guide the learning experience.

Dates: Monday-Friday, June 10 -Aug. 23 (We will be running a program on July the 4th!); 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Adventurers (Ages 3 - 5): The adventurers will be operating out of their own space this summer! They will be working on the skills of being independent while interacting efficiently with others. They will spend time learning science outside and have some quiet, rest time in the afternoons.

Explorers (Ages 6 - 9): They will be diving in to exploring this place through the lenses of science and fun! The focus this summer will be identifying interactions at play, whether between people, plants, animals, or ecosystems.

Investigators (Ages 10 - 12): This summer, the older students will be challenged like never before! They will be learning games, how to teach the basics of canoeing, hiking to Osprey Point, carrying out week-long experiments and so much more!
