MOSS Field Campus Ponderosa Park
MOSS is a place where you can learn, play and have fun. Let your imagination be the guide as you help create your own outdoor adventure. MOSS' field campus inside Ponderosa State Park on the shores of stunning Payette Lake is the perfect location for kids to be kids in a safe, fun, adventure filled environment.
ge Groups: 3-5 years and 6-9 years
Dates: June 17th - July 26th (no camp on the 4th of July)
Morning Session Hours: 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon
Afternoon Session Hours: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
All Day Session Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (6 - 9 year olds only)
How to enroll: Arrive at the McCall Outdoor Science School and sign up between 8:45 AM and 9:00 AM for the first session or 12:45 PM and 1:00 PM for the second session. To register ahead of time please call 888-634-3918
Example activities: Students will engage in a variety of activities including but not limited to hiking, plant identification, water ecology exploration, geology lessons, activities in understanding characteristics of ecosystems, bug identification, nature arts and crafts, laughing and loving summer in Ponderosa State Park.
