Over 100 7th-8th graders from Payette Lakes Middle School came out to Bear Basin in May and learned about hydrology, wildlife, botany, fire prevention, fisheries and leave no trace. Forest Service personnel led activities and gave these students invaluable exposure to natural resource careers.
